Thank You Grandma! Jake spent the night at grandma's on Saturday night and let his mom and dad have a date night. Nate and I were able to drop Jake off at my mom's Saturday afternoon and we went to a movie and dinner (Melting Pot - thanks to Libby & Joe) and slept in on Sunday, it was wonderful. We sure missed Jacob but he had a good time getting spoiled at grandma's house, she bought him this Safari Rocker and he loves it! I think this will become a monthly over night ritual!

Jacob gave his mom and dad the best birthday gift ever last night! 
Just a quick update: Jake is doing great! He is becoming more alert each day and is such a great baby! He is awake right now in his activity rocker and I can tell he is starting to recognize his toys. He is doing pretty well at night, we are starting to get into a routine, he actually slept 4 1/2 hours straight last night!!! Nate and I were super excited. He is still having a difficult time finding his thumbs, so he ends up sticking his entire fist in his mouth but isn't satisfied. We have our month checkup in a few weeks, they still want him to gain back 5 oz to get back to his birth weight. Jacob has had many visitors and is loving it - he loves snuggling up to all of them, we are looking forward to the next few weekends of more visitors. Thank you to all who have made the trip up here, we know it's not easy, but we appreciate it!
